Dr. Bomar, a 1974 honor graduate of Texas A&M College of Veterinary Medicine, founded Colonial Park Veterinary Hospital with Dr. Riddle in 1975 after completing a medicine internship at the University of Missouri. Originally from Fort Worth, Dr. Bomar relocated to Wichita Falls where he has been a partner and full-time practicing veterinarian at Colonial Park Veterinary Hospital ever since.
Dr. Bomar and his wife, Ann have three daughters, Blythe, Merrill and Michael, and two grandsons. When he is not traveling to visit his daughters and grandsons, Dr. Bomar can be seen riding his recumbent bicycle around town or playing the banjo.
His professional interests include, but are not limited to, soft tissue and orthopedic surgery as well as ultrasonography.
