Dr. Riddle was born and raised in Wichita Falls, Texas. Originally, a biologist for the State Department of Health, Dr. Riddle headed for Texas A&M College of Veterinary Medicine, where he graduated in 1975. He then returned to his hometown where he built Colonial Park Veterinary Hospital from the ground up with Dr. Bomar.
Dr. Riddle and his wife, Carol Anne, have three grown children and seven grand-children that occupy most of his spare time. Additionally, when not working, Dr. Riddle is doing some sort of outdoor activity or spending time at one of his farms.
Dr. Riddle sold his share of Colonial Park Veterinary Hospital in 2005. He now works part-time, two to three days a week. His main interest in veterinary medicine is preventitive medicine and toxicology.
