The case of the porcupine's revenge

PATIENTS
Name: Boudrough Age: 7 years Breed: male neutered Catahoula
Name: Moveigh Age: 3 years Breed: male neutered Catahoula

SYMPTOMS
Patients were presented to Colonial Park Veterinary Hospital after an unfortunate encounter with a porcupine. Both dogs had porcupine quills in their mouths and noses.

SURGERY (more info)
After anesthetizing both dogs, Dr. Wurster removed the quills.

OUTCOME
Some quills were very deep and the dogs were sent home with two weeks worth of antibiotics to prevent any infection. Boudrough and Moveigh were sent home the same afternoon.
