Our doctors are skilled in a variety of surgical procedures. And all surgeries whether elective or non-elective, are handled with the utmost concern for your pet's overall health needs. We understand that the thought of surgery can be scary for you and your pet. That is why we recommend and perform pre-anesthetic blood testing to ensure that your pet is not an anesthetic risk. We offer Sevoflurane anesthesia for those pets with severe, underlying medical conditions, and monitor all our patients with pulse oximetry and end tidal carbon dioxie. And your pet’s post-operative comfort is maintained with appropriate medications for pain relief.
Additionally, we provide the use of CO2 Laser for feline declaws and canine neuters. Our laser surgical services are popular with our clientele for such procedures due to less swelling, less pain and quicker recovery. We also have established relationships with specialists in the event that your pet may benefit from referral for delicate, complicated procedures requiring special equipment. |
